Overview and Introduction:
Welcome to the LogWork Wizard, an App designed to simplify the process of retrieving log work data from Atlassian projects. This app leverages APIs to provide you with precise log work information based on Project, Project roles, and time units.
With LogWork Wizard, you can extract Log Hours from your project data by filtering results based on Projects, Roles, Time Unit.
Configuration:
Follow these steps to configure the LogWork Wizard.
Open your dashboard and enter Edit mode.
Search for the "LogWork Wizard" gadget and click on "Add" to add it to your dashboard.
The gadget will appear with a default screen;
You'll be prompted to allow permissions to call APIs, which are used to fetch data from your instance. Click on "Allow Access."
Now, you'll see a list of available projects under the "Select Project" dropdown field.
Choose the appropriate project from the dropdown.
After selecting a project, the 'Select Role' dropdown will populate with a list of roles associated with that project. Please ensure that you choose the relevant project role from the dropdown when adding people, as it's required to assign them to the appropriate role.
To specify the date range for your log work data, click on "Custom." You will be prompted to select a "Start Date" and "End Date."
Select Refresh Interval to refresh data after every selected interval.
Based on the available users within the selected role, LogWork Wizard will provide log work data for the specified time period. This information includes user avatars, names, log work, progress bars, and time spent.
To see the list of issues available into gadget you can click on Open Jira Search. and you can click on Export button it will create excel sheet which contains list of issues and log hours based on selected time interval.
